Wheelieing off into the sunset

Wheelieing off into the sunset

Wheelieing is better than working, but we should be grateful either way. Week one's image was conjured up, actually this whole project, was brewed in the mind of a friend, a friend who backflips each year from the same bridge and will until he can't. On my birthday this year, 2022, that dude messaged me about his backflip project and said I should do a daily social media wheelie journal. Holy shit, that was a brilliant idea. I started by wheelieing the 46 homes I lived, in my 46 years of life. Each day I lifted my front wheel for the camera, and wrote about my shitty childhood, while trying to show the positive outcome, from the eyes of my skills. I quickly burnt out as I always do, this project was hard, not only physically, but also mentally exhausting and soul punishing.  I have always wanted to gain something financially from my traumas, like a well practiced basketball player trying to escape the ghetto.  Lost Boys Wears is just that, a shot at escaping an emotional ghetto.
